[ crush ] gallery walls.

this post was suppose to be about welcoming spring, and my sudden lust for a pop of color. (yes, me -- the self-proclaimed chromaphobe, is currently wearing a vibrant red orange on my nails... who'da thought it. ha) but the more time I spent on pinterest searching for images, the more I found myself constantly swooning over these eclectic gallery walls.

I suppose they do serve as a bit of a pop of color, but I especially love the stories they tell and the histories they preserve.  each momento, a souvenir of the past.

I'm also probably subconsciously beginning to resent the lack of wall space in our studio loft.  Don't get me wrong - I love our little nest, and the tall ceilings, huge windows, and great storage... but sadly, the pitch of our ceiling and closets that flank each side of our studio leaves very little wall surface to hang anything...

So for now I guess I will have to settle for living vicariously through these lovelies and begin my collection for our future home :)
