This photograph brings back so many memories of my trip to Ghana last summer, one of the most physically and emotionally draining (and rewarding) experiences of my life. This snapshot was taken after we took a 2 1/2 hour trek over a mountain to get to Wli Falls, claimed to be the highest waterfall in all of Western Africa. And I would believe it... this photo only captures probably a sixth of the entire waterfall.
Simply sublime.
my sister in law just left today for her second mission trip to ghana! my father in law has also gone. they have such great stories, but i don't think they got to do too much fun stuff! this is amazing!

ReplyDeleteWe traveled on the weekends, and were luckily not too far away from the falls. Ghana is such a beautiful.REALLYfriendly.dynamic country, I'm so thankful I got to experience it outside of just the town we worked in.
